New Business Sales Consultant

Hours: Monday-Friday 09:00-17:30

Holidays: 25 days

Overall purpose of the job:

  • Generate client interest and meetings for large value sales opportunities in IT
  • Develop skills over a 12 month development period to progress into a self-sufficient sales role
  • Learn and receive mentorship from successful sales individuals in Mid-Markets team
  • To act as an advocate of Exponential-e in all customer interactions and within the external market place

Key responsibilities for this job:

  • Exceed targets set by the business to contribute towards the continued success of the Mid Markets team
    • Calls/Meetings/Pipeline (New Business Opportunities)
  • Follow vertical based sales strategies to generate quality new business opportunities
    • Build own vertical knowledge and sales strategies as part of development
  • Increase market share, raising awareness of the Exponential-e brand and technology
  • Identify key business decision makers and sell the Exponential-e value proposition
  • Uncover key business drivers and strategies for technology change
    • Use appropriate sales methodologies to qualify/uncover
  • Accurate forecasting of anticipated sales is required, along with regular activity reporting
  • To ensure that the sales tools are up to date for all accounts, customer contacts, prospects, deals and opportunities
  • Attending networking events which at times may include activities outside of normal work hours
  • To take responsibility for and achieve personal and career advancement goals in line with Exponential-e’s personal development program

Desirable experience:

  • Previous cold calling/sales experience
  • IT/Tech experience or knowledge
